Cookie Policy
Effective: October 29, 2025
Applies to: websites, portals, and online services operated by GLT, LLC (“GLT,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how GLT uses them, how third parties may use them on our sites, and your general understanding of their function. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They help websites remember you—such as login details, preferences, or pages visited—and allow performance measurement. GLT also uses related technologies such as local storage, pixels, and server logs (collectively, “cookies” in this policy).

How GLT uses cookies
GLT uses cookies only to the extent necessary to ensure our websites function securely, efficiently, and consistently. We do not use cookies to sell or share personal information.
- Essential cookies (required): enable core site functionality such as navigation, secure access, form submission, and load balancing. Without these, the site will not operate correctly.
- Analytics and performance cookies: collect anonymous usage data to understand site traffic, detect errors, and improve usability. Aggregated metrics do not personally identify you.
- Functionality cookies: remember choices such as language, text size, or region to improve user experience.
- Security cookies: protect the site and our users by identifying irregular activity or abuse.
Third-party cookies
We may use trusted service providers that set cookies on our behalf—for analytics, security, or embedded content (such as videos or maps). These providers cannot use the data they collect through GLT sites for their own marketing.
| Provider | Purpose | Typical Retention |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate site metrics (page views, navigation paths) | 14–26 months |
| Vimeo / YouTube | Embedded video playback and performance | Session to 6 months |
| Cloudflare / Akamai | Network performance & security | Session only |
How long cookies remain on your device
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their set expiration date or until you delete them. GLT configures durations proportionate to each cookie’s purpose and complies with retention requirements.
Managing cookies
You may control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies entirely. If you choose to disable cookies, some features of GLT websites may not function as intended, such as secure login areas or saved preferences.
Security and privacy
GLT applies industry-standard security measures to protect information gathered through cookies and logs. Cookie data is used only for legitimate operational and security purposes and is never sold or used to build personal profiles.
Changes to this policy
GLT may update this Cookie Policy as technology or regulations evolve. All changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of GLT sites after updates constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
