Kim Doner has over 30 years of experience working in asset management.
Recent federal projects include providing asset management, inventory, and final disposition subject matter expertise to the Federal Aviation Administration. She has managed large inventory projects for the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
She taught personal property asset disposal management and asset accounting for nine years at the U.S. Army Logistics Management College in Ft. Lee, VA. She has performed technology assessments and created roadmaps for technology adoption including development, deployment, and integration of information systems for the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
Kim is CPPM certified and a Consulting Fellow (CF) for the National Property Management Association (NPMA) Federal Center Chapter and Past Chairperson for the NPMA’s Excess and Disposition Property Management Special Interest Group (EDPM-SIG). Kim is also a member of the Asset Leadership Network (ALN), the Chairperson for Subcommittee E53-02 for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), technical lead on six ASTM Committee E-53 standards, and a founding member and Membership Secretary to the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) from ASTM to the International Standards Organization (ISO) for ISO 55000, Asset Management.
Hobbies include gardening, stained glass, and sewing. Volunteer work includes Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Earlysville Volunteer Fire Company and co-founder of the Charlottesville chapter of the Breasties, an organization that includes survivors, pre-vivors, and caregivers for women impacted by cancer.
